Samur - Civil Protection receives a Mention for best practices at the USEC Awards
Samur - Protección Civil recibe la mención a las buenas prácticas en su atención a la emergencia, en los V Premios Internacionales de Seguridad y Emergencias, USEC Awards.
On February 26th, 2025, the 5th International Security and Emergency Awards ceremony, organised by the USECIM News Channel, were held. These awards, known as the Universal Security & Emergency Channel Awards (USEC Awards), recognise the work carried out by various institutions, both public and private, related to security and emergency.
In this edition, Samur - Civil Protection was honoured with a mention for best practices in its emergency care. This recognition is due to the “Satisfaction surveys among patients and users of our service” project, which has facilitated the improvement of the quality of medical assistance via citizen feedback.
The award was accepted by the Deputy Director General of SAMUR-PC, Carmen Camacho, and the Head of Department of Quality Regulations, Isabel Casado. According to Dr. Isabel Casado, this award “recognises our way of including citizens in the design of our medical services with their feedback of what we provide, in terms of the quality they perceive. It is a catalyst for the continuous improvement of our organisation.
