Delegation from Santa Fe (Argentina) visits Madrid
On Monday 10 October, a delegation from Santa Fe (Argentina) visited the Madrid City Council to learn about good practices in street cleaning, recycling and waste management. The delegation was composed of several provincial deputies and supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina in Spain.
They were received by Francisco Reina Velázquez Head of the Biomethanisation and Biogas Treatment Department of the Valdemingómez Technology Park, who detailed the general lines of management and operation of the park, followed by Lydia Navarro, Deputy Director General of Waste Collection, whose presentation dealt with the Cleaning and Waste Services of the city of Madrid.
On behalf of the Deputy Mayor's Office, Ricardo Iglesias, Head of the External Relations Service, was present and coordinated the visit
