Internacionalización asiste a la presentación de un vehículo solar en la Embajada de los Países Bajos 7 oct II

The presentation of the Stella Vita solar vehicle of the Eindhoven Solar Team took place 7 October at the residence of the Ambassador of the Netherlands.

This vehicle has been made by a group of 22 students from the Eindhoven University of Technology. The project aims to be a benchmark that contributes to advance towards a sustainable future in terms of mobility and energy, and to replace fossil fuels with green energies.

The car Stella Vita is actually a self-sufficient house thanks to the energy that produced the solar panels installed on its roof. These panels make it autonomous by not needing any source of charge, as well as it works as a mobile home in which to live, work and travel.

The arrival in Madrid of this special vehicle was preceded by a meeting held with companies and relevant actors in the field of the development of sustainable and innovative solutions. The purpose of this meeting was the exchange of good practices and ideas between Netherlands and Spain on sustainability and real-life innovation.

Madrid City Council has been represented by the Deputy Director General of Internationalization, Mr Juan Carlos de Castro Pita.
