Madrid welcomes a Delegation from South Moravia, Czech Republic
The Cibeles Palace, seat of Madrid City Council, received on 28 September a large delegation from the South Moravian Region (Czech Republic), chaired by Mr. Lukáš Dubec, first vice-president of the South Moravian Region, accompanied by the First Secretary of the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Spain.
After the institutional greeting organised by Director General of Cooperation and Global Citizenship, Mr Cecilio Cerdán, Deputy Director General of Internationalization, Mr Juan Carlos de Castro Pita and Head of Service of External Relations, Mr Ricardo Iglesias, made a brief Presentation of the City, its Council, as well as the lines of cooperation with the administration of the Community of Madrid (Regional Government).
Then, Ms Natividad Ramos, member of the SAMUR-Civil Protection, Mr Manuel Ferrer Álvarez, Head of Unit and Mr Jose Luis Bordel Sánchez, Head of Division of the Fire Department, explained Madrid Emergency Management and Response.
Finally, Ms Sabine Schwanz, Director of Travel Trade & Connectivity and Mr David Noack, Director of Madrid Convention Bureau, presented the Leisure Tourism - MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions of Madrid) program.
Finally, a guided visit throughout the Cibeles building: its terrace, the viewpoint and the Plenary Hall of Madrid, was made.
