Digital identity
Digital identity is considered one of the first barriers to using e-administration. For this reason, the Digital Office has launched various initiatives aimed at facilitating the citizen's access to digital services, starting with the modification of the regulations.
Some of the initiative are as follows:
- We have implemented the Cl@ve system as an identification and signature system, converting its 14 million users into citizens with potential access to Madrid City Council services, connecting all services and incorporating Cl@ve Permanente (with SMS).
- You can now register for Cl@ve at Línea Madrid offices. From these offices, in 2021, 21,000 citizens have managed the registry for using the system.
- We have established the Cl@ve system as the identification system in the municipal apps.
- We are carrying out Cl@ve dissemination campaigns in the registry offices.
