2024 Quality of Life Survey
This survey, sponsored by the Directorate-General for Transparency and Quality, has been undertaken since 2006. Its objective is to determine the degree of satisfaction of Madrid's residents with the quality of life in the city and how they rate municipal management and public services
The ten highest-rated services, on a scale of 0 to 10, are the Fire Department (8.2), SAMUR-Civil Protection (7.8), Samur Social (7.5), Municipal theatres (7.4), Municipal libraries (7.3), EMT buses (7.3), Municipal cultural centres (6.9), Municipal Police (6.8), Green spaces (parks and gardens) (6.8) and Municipal sports facilities (6.7).
Thanks to the efforts and commitment of all its members, SAMUR Civil Protection is, after the Fire Department, the second highest-rated service in Madrid with a score of 7.8 out of 10.
