Operation Stations in Madrid
There are 25 operational stations strategically located throughout the City of Madrid, some of which have training centre for continuing education courses for all SAMUR-PC personnel.
There are four types of mobile units located at the bases: Advanced Life Support Unit (ALS), Basic Life Support Unit (BLS), Civil Protection Basic Life Support Unit (BLS-PC), and Psychiatric Support Unit (PSSU), with the following personnel:
ALS:
1 physician
1 nurse
1 EMT (Emergency Medical Technician)
BLS: 2 EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians)
BLS-PC: 3-4 Volunteer Corps EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians)
PSSU: 3 EMTs (Emergency Medical Technicians)
