The European project BTL-COP highlights the importance of the community policing model as a cornerstone for strengthening mutual trust between the police and citizens, enabling a better understanding of crime related to poverty. This approach places strong emphasis on prevention and active collaboration with local communities.

One of the project’s key priorities is to foster trust between the police and the community through the development of technological and training tools that support transparent, secure, and two-way communication.
