BTL-COP

El proyecto europeo BTL-COP destaca la importancia del modelo de policía comunitaria como piedra angular para fortalecer la confianza mutua entre la policía y los ciudadanos, permitiendo una mejor comprensión del crimen relacionado con la pobreza. Este enfoque pone un fuerte énfasis en la prevención y la colaboración activa con las comunidades locales.

Una de las prioridades clave del proyecto es fomentar la confianza entre la policía y la comunidad mediante el desarrollo de herramientas tecnológicas y formativas que apoyen una comunicación transparente, segura y bidireccional.

Summary

The European project BTL-COP highlights the importance of the community policing model as a cornerstone for strengthening mutual trust between the police and citizens, enabling a better understanding of crime related to poverty. This approach places strong emphasis on prevention and active collaboration with local communities.

One of the project’s key priorities is to foster trust between the police and the community through the development of technological and training tools that support transparent, secure, and two-way communication.
