Through cooperation among key stakeholders from the religious, educational, and security sectors, SHIELDed promotes collective engagement to reduce prejudice, hatred, and violence.

The project’s objectives include: (1) enhancing the security of places of religious practice and freedom by promoting safe and tolerant local communities; (2) empowering vulnerable targets and communities to prevent, respond to, and mitigate religious and cultural hatred and violence; and (3) fostering a culture of security based on cross-sector cooperation, resilience, and education.
