Municipal network against sexual violence
The municipal network against sexual violence offers comprehensive assistance aiming at giving a response to real situations, needs and demands of those women victim of sexual violence, ensuring the required protection and optimum conditions for the comprehensive recovery of their lives, by means of a process of growing personal empowerment, where they are active agents and key actors of their own change.
The services comprising the municipal network against sexual violence towards women are:
- Crisis centre against sexual violence Pilar Estebanez. Service of specialized assistance to women who have experienced an attempt or a situation of recent sexual violence, or who are in a situation of crisis derived from the sexual violence suffered. Serves the whole municipality of Madrid.
- Centre of comprehensive assistance against sexual violence Benita Pastrana. Service of specialized assistance to women victim of past or not recent sexual violence, who do not require urgent and/or immediate assistance, complementing the work developed by the 24h Crisis Centre Pilar Estebanez.
