MiNT Smart Platform
MiNT, Madrid Inteligente, is the technological platform to support Urban Public Services that allows the management of the elements of the city of Madrid, integrating maintenance actions, citizen incidents and municipal inspections.
It is framed within objective 2 of the Digital Transformation Strategy: "City Intelligence", in its programme 5: "Digital and sustainable intelligence in management".
MiNT was launched as a project in April 2014 with the aim of providing Madrid with the technological solutions needed to implement a smart city model, build a platform to centralise the information and management of the city's public service contracts and provide the technological basis to evolve and build the new services that the city will need in the coming years.
Its main users are the municipal managers and technicians of each Service, municipal inspectors and service concessionary companies, as well as citizens. All of this is based on a single municipal asset inventory.
MiNT is mainly a technological platform to support Urban Public Services that allows the management of the elements of the city of Madrid, integrating the actions of maintenance, citizen incidents and municipal inspections.
As a result, the MiNT platform provides a set of key functionalities for the digital transformation of services, from the points of view of the internal management of the Government Areas of Environment and Mobility, where more than 25,000 public employees are involved, and of the citizen, making available services related to the city of Madrid regardless of the means used to access them.
